Set within woodland the ecology centre provides a demonstration of the possibilities of timber. Facilities are provided for casual visitors, school groups and an on site team who manage the woodland. This complex of buildings seeks to use timber throughout its design, construction and maintenance as an integrated part of its woodland setting.
